Uhuu New Features
To keep maintenance of the website that we have live I had to develop a few new features to fulfill some business needs for events that were upcoming or for new business opportunities.
Ticket Insurance
As a new business opportunity, the company would begin offering insurance for users to enter, using a third-party service. To do this, it was necessary to include a space in the check-out journey for the user to find out about the insurance and be able to purchase it if they wanted.
Delivery options
We were going to start selling an event that required the delivery of physical tickets (cashless wristbands), but the system was not capable of this type of action. So it was necessary to develop a feature that would make delivery and pickup options available to the user at check-out, in addition to the possibility of adding and removing delivery addresses.
Cart
We were receiving complaints from users that they were unable to delete just one ticket from the website cart. After benchmark research, we studied the best features in e-commerce so that we could develop an action in the cart that allows the user, in addition to making multiple deletions, to delete just one or more tickets at a time.
